Hello, my name is Alix and I'm a Integrative Counsellor. I work to place the client at the centre of our work. I will support my clients to identify problems, anxieties and issues which are impacting their lives.
As a Integrative therapist I will not direct the session, I will work with my clients and what they bring at the time.
I will support my clients to find their own inner resources to help them overcome their problems. However I can offer skills and interventions to support them on this journey.
I have also recently completed Couples Counselling trainning and can now offer this across the Fylde coast.
I have worked at the CASHER team at Blackpool Victoria Hospital. Where I supported young people and children who are struggling with mental health issues. I work with the young people to support them and find the right way forward for them. I have experience of working with young people with neurodirverse differences and help them engage with coping styles.
I also have experience with trauma, addiction, childhood abuse, eating disorders, bereavement and other areas.
