Hi I'm Alison, I know reaching out can feel hard, you might be feeling anxious, overwhelmed, low or struggling with something that feels difficult to manage on your own. You may not even be sure why you feel the way you do, only that something doesn't feel quiet right.
I offer a warm, calm, online space where you can talk openly and be yourself, without fear of judgement, helping you feel heard, understood and supported.
As a person-centered counsellor I believe you are the expert on your own life, my role is to listen with empathy and understanding, supporting you as you explore your thoughts, feelings at your own pace.
I am a BACP-accredited counsellor, and I have extensive experience of supporting people approaching the end of life, as well as those facing the death of a loved one or finding your way through bereavement and grief. Having a dedicated space to talk about loss or explore the complexities of grief can really support you on your grief journey.
Alongside this, I support people facing a range of emotional and personal difficulties, with a particular interest in supporting women struggling with themselves, their bodies, weight or size. Together, we can explore these experiences with curiosity & compassion.
