I'm Alison, and I’m an integrative psychotherapist. I believe that each person has an inherent capacity to heal and grow, and that therapy can offer a supportive and collaborative space to facilitate that process. I work alongside you to find an approach that best meets your needs — this might involve a structured, solution-focused framework or a more reflective exploration of past experiences and how they influence your present. My practice is LGBTQ+, Neurodivergence-affirming, and trauma-informed. I’m also informed and inspired by Internal Family Systems (IFS), neuroscience, and somatic practices.
I have experience with a wide range of clients in NHS and clinical settings, and work as a counsellor with teenagers at a school for the performing arts in South London. My work supports clients with depression, anxiety, overwhelm, relationships, self-esteem, menopause, life transitions, obesity, comfort eating, grief, loss and more.
You might be anxious, depressed, be at a turning point in your life or want to make a change in habits or behaviour. I can provide a warm, non-judgemental, confidential space to find a way through. I can work short-term or long-term, depending on your requirements. Sessions are 50 minutes long and are delivered either face-to-face or online, weekly.
