My focus is to support those who have suffered from a traumatic experience(s) that influences their quality of life, resulting in PTSD or C-PTSD. This might include adverse childhood experiences, attachment disruption, sexual or emotional abuse/ neglect or loss, religious or medical trauma and trauma experienced as part of their job I am here to support you if you are suffering from low self-esteem, low confidence, anger, anxiety, dissociation, and want to feel differently about yourself and life.
My iniital training was in general psychology. I subsequently trained in Humanistic Counselling, EMDR, CBT, Trauma, Emotional Freedom Technique, Inner child work, Internal family systems. My practice includes talking therapy and other creative ways to bring new perspectives.
My belief is that everyone is unique and has value. Everyone deserves warmth, respect and acceptance no matter what their circumstances. I see myself more as a guiding companion on your journey to healing. You have the answers within you, with much more potential than you think you have. I just help you to find them.
