Hello, I’m Ali (she/her). I’m a fully qualified Integrative Psychotherapist and Counsellor living in Sheffield. The main approach I use is Person-Centred therapy, supporting you as you explore your personal challenges, emotions, beliefs, behaviours, and worldview. Through this you gain more awareness of your choices, working towards freedom from anything that may hinder your progress and achieving the self-empowerment you desire.
In addition, as an integrated therapist I incorporate different therapeutic ideas and relevant approaches based on your unique needs and circumstances, while offering empathy, compassion and effective support. Regardless of all the many different Therapy Theories, think of our work as journeying together for your choices, freedom and self-empowerment.
I am trained in Trauma-Informed Practice, working with adults facing a diverse range of challenges, incl bereavement and loss, domestic abuse, disability/health-related issues, caring, agoraphobia, relationship issues, anxiety, depression, stress, , low self-esteem, personal identity, personal development, ethical polyamory, church hurt & discrimination.
