About
No matter our age, life seems to offer us challenges, again and again. Have you ever wondered how to deal with its uncertainty and confusion, with things not turning out as we had hoped, with the loss of our sense of who we are and where we are going? If so, you are not alone! I believe it is a part of the human experience that at different times in our lives, we all face loss, bereavement, feeling stuck, and/or a crisis of meaning and purpose. This can also come in the form of a mental health 'crisis' - such as anxiety, depression and self-harm - or might come in the form of a spiritual crisis, or sense of hopelessness.
I am particularly experienced in working with adults and young people who are feeling lost, stuck, seeking purpose and direction; facing life changes such as the quarter-life and mid-life ‘crisis’; facing the challenge of living with chronic illness (like cancer); facing bereavement, or who have been bereaved; and those facing a mental health 'crisis'.
I have worked in a range of settings, including as a hospice bereavement counsellor and cancer support counsellor, in schools and settings for young people. Whether you are feeling anxious, angry, sad, ashamed, envious, lost or uncertain, my hope is that I may be able to support you and give you space to be exactly as you are. Please do get in touch.
