I am an experienced, qualified and approachable psychotherapist working with individual adults. Feelings of depression, anxiety or a lack of direction or meaning in life need to be understood in a broad context. By looking at our whole life we can uncover who we really are and where we wish to go. I offer a safe space where troublesome, dark and difficult feelings can be examined and explored - by bringing them into the light we open up the possibility of facing and understanding them.
I have worked with people from differing backgrounds and experiences. Our uniqueness is precious and we all have a right to have our voice heard. I seek to create a safe and containing space where issues and problems can be discussed and understood. By bringing what is disturbing into the light you have the possibility of taking some control over it.
I work from an attractive and peaceful location near Rickmansworth. I am willing to really listen to what you wish to bring - I do not judge or criticise but am available to be along side you in your distress. Psychotherapy is a dialogue that can deepen over time and allow you to better understand who you are and who you can be.
