As an experienced (19 years) and relational therapist, I bring warmth, safety, honesty and provide a space where you can bring what is troubling you and be truly heard, understood and accepted. I listen with care, offer perspective and work alongside you as you make sense of your challenges and move towards meaningful change.
As well as having some knowledge and understanding of many issues that bring clients to therapy, I also understand that how each person relates to their own struggle is unique. My integrative training as well as ongoing professional development means that I can tailor the therapy to your own specific needs.
Depending on what has brought you to therapy, this might mean having a space to reflect; making sense of and processing overwhelming experiences; exploring your relationship to yourself and others, understanding and challenging unhelpful patterns of behaviour; coming to terms with painful experiences and finding a freer and more fulfilling way of living.
While most of the work takes place through talking, when appropriate I can also offer more creative ways of working (art, play, music…) as sometimes it is difficult to find words that describes our experience.
