Hello, My name is Alana, I am a fully qualified Humanistic Counsellor based at Watt Health in Sarisbury Green and Totton Creative Hub. I believe that nothing is more important than the relationship between client and counsellor and therefore my main aim is to offer you a space where you feel comfortable and safe to be able to talk and work through your feelings.
My varied career has seen me working at HMP Winchester, in secondary schools as well as participating in community projects across Hampshire with local theatre groups. Working with such a wide range of people has enabled me to see first-hand the complexities people face within their personal lives.
As well as having my own private practice, I currently work as a school counsellor with children and young people aged between 10-16. Alongside this, I also counsel young people aged 11-19 at a charity based in Eastleigh. Previously, I have counselled adults at The You Trust in Portsmouth.
