I worked with clients who had depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and some who suffered from childhood trauma, childhood sexual abuse, and relationship problems. Some clients just needed to talk about a specific issue for the short term, and some preferred to have longer-term counselling to address underlying aspects of their personality. It's a journey to understand the self, and perhaps this understanding can make things move forward and incite a change
I work psychodynamically, which means having an understanding of the current behaviour in the light of childhood and developmental events. Also to understand and see through the relationship between me and the client
