About
I am experienced and compassionate and have been working as a therapist for over 15 years. I work to a high standard of professional ethics and I am an accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I practice according to their code of professional ethics and practice.
I practice an Integrative approach to psychotherapy, which draws on different theoretical techniques; such has humanistic, psychodynamic and cognitive behavioural therapy. People think, feel and react in different ways. By integrating different ways of thinking, people can bring about changes in their lives.
The most important thing in a therapeutic relationship is that you feel you 'click' with the person you are talking too. The initial session will give you the opportunity to see what it may feel like being in therapy with me. There is no obligation to continue after this session if you do not feel completely comfortable.
