Empowered Carers provide Dementia Specific Therapeutic sessions around coping with the realities of living with Dementia . Our team offer a unique service to support family caregivers either online or on telephone so that people can access support from the comfort of their own homes. Caregivers are paired up with one of our experienced and compassionate team members who stay with you throughout the emotional demands and many transitions of the dementia/ carer journey. Offering emotional support, education, time for refection and can support you through the navigation of the complex health and social care system.
The team offers a safe and non judgmental confidential space for caregivers to talk about their everyday challenges, to explore emotions, their own health and wellbeing and support around transitions. We can offer a free 30 minute consultation to see if the service is right
Our team are highly experienced and many come with first hand experience of having a family member living with dementia.
