My psychodynamic training takes into account the connections between the past and the present and in the frame of how we engage, things can become apparent that you may have not been aware of. The nuances of how this promotes change has been expressed by my clients. I also work as a trauma informed counsellor which has enriched my experience as a therapist. I have experience working with self esteem, anxiety, abuse and much more. There may be things from your past that you feel are stopping you from moving forward. In our sessions we can explore what you bring, what your goals are and what it would look like to achieve them.
I offer an initial meeting where I can learn more about you and you have the chance to ask me questions about our ongoing work together. This initial meeting can last up to 1hr 15mins. Our sessions thereafter will be once weekly for 50mins at the same time on the same day every week.
In my practice I offer a non-judgemental, safe space where you can express and explore parts of you that you may have not been able to find a space for.....and everything in between. My clients often tell me they didn't know when the change happened, it just did. It is such a gift to join you on your journey of self discovery.
