There is a broad spectrum of reasons why people seek and can benefit from counselling. Being a person-centred counsellor, I view my clients as the expert about themselves. I provide you with the space to at your own pace, free from judgment, as we explore the issues you wish to bring to counselling. In such a way that you can develop the solutions, which you feel work best for you.
I receive feedback from clients that I am: compassionate, understanding and genuine. I believe the therapeutic process, works best when these human qualities are present in the therapeutic relationship; consequently, my clients tell me they value my 'realness'. I strive to be sensitive to my clients' experience and to ensure they do not feel pressured.
