There are many difficulties in life that can feel overwhelming at times. Life circumstances or internal struggles can leave us feeling as if we are not getting what we should out of life and we want to be able to move forward. In all circumstances I believe passionately in the power of psychotherapy to help enact positive change. The tools and skills you could learn with me can enable you to feel that you can live the rest of your life free from what has been holding you back. We would do this together working at your pace and always being in partnership.

Being at a crossroads in life, or feeling hopeless and not knowing where to turn can be a scary and lonely place. Why did this happen to me? How can I ever recover from this? Will my life ever get better? are questions you may be asking yourself. You may be struggling with a difficult relationship, loss, grief, lack of self confidence, ill-health or feeling 'stuck in a rut' at work or home, and wanting more from life. Believing that change is possible, and having even a tiny glimmer of hope that things can improve can be the first step towards healing and recovery. Reaching out for help can nourish and grow that tiny spark...

I am a qualified Counsellor offering sessions (currently via Zoom video link or phone) from Levenshulme, Manchester, Life is not always easy. Often it can feel just the opposite. I offer a warm space in which you can tell your story and feel heard, and together we can work to make sense of it. However far back your story goes or whether you have only felt this way for a short time, if things have begun to feel too much for any reason, perhaps I can help. Taking the decision to speak to a professional and commit yourself to feel better takes courage and shows self-respect. It is not a sign of weakness.

I offer convenient and accessible psychotherapy, coaching, debriefing and clinical supervision online or by telephone. This has proved enormously supportive and of comparative value to meeting in person for many. I believe in the power of a strong therapeutic relationship and I am convinced that when people experience a genuinely non-judgmental, collaborative and trusting environment – something miraculous happens! I specialise in working safely and effectively with people who have experienced past, recent or current, stress or trauma. I deliver UK-wide training courses and am qualified to advanced level in clinical supervision.

As an Integrative and Transpersonal psychotherapist I believe that every client that I work with has an inherent capacity to achieve happiness and fulfillment regardless of circumstances or environment. The difficulties associated with living are as numerous as there are people alive today. I believe that each individual carries the seeds of future contentment in the difficulties that they face in the present. My approach to psychotherapy seeks to harness the potential for individual wholeness by creating a safe and unjudgemental space in which clients can obtain clarity on their past and present whilst shaping a sought-after and fulfilled future.

I help people to make change, to lead more fulfilling lives and I am very good at my job. I provide a caring, safe space, where you will feel listened to and I will work at your pace to provide insight and provide strength and confidence to live the life you want. I work in a way that allows you to be totally yourself, offering a real person-to-person relationship and upholding strict confidentiality. I have great emotional insight to see things through your eyes and can highlight new perspectives and tackle the underlying issues, but ultimately I offer what you would like, at your pace.

Identifying how or what we are feeling, or why we feel a certain way can be challenging and there are times when we know exactly what the issues are, although knowing where to start in resolving some of those issues can prove difficult and overwhelming. Counselling is an opportunity for you to explore your thoughts, feelings and behaviours, gaining a better understanding of yourself and your experiences. Counselling can also provide you with the opportunity to find the tools and strategies to better manage, cope and self sooth from life’s difficulties; facilitating self discovery, self care and positive wellbeing.

Adolescents / Teenagers (14 to 19) Counsellors
Adolescence describes the teenage years between 13 and 19 and can be considered the transitional stage from childhood to adulthood. However the physical and psychological changes that occur in adolescence can start earlier, and it can be a time of both disorientation and discovery. The transitional period can bring up issues of independence and self-identity. Sometimes teens may be experimenting with drugs and alcohol or sexuality. During this time, peer groups and external appearance tend to increase in importance.

For help with adolescents or for a M19 adolescent counsellor these professionals provide help for adolescent development and adolescent education. They include adolescent counsellors in M19, adolescent psychologists, and adolescent therapists. They can help with adolescent behaviour, adolescent learning and adolescent discipline.

M19 teen counsellors also provide help for troubled teens in M19 or troubled teen boys and girls. For parents of out-of-control teens, M19 counsellors can help with communicating and understanding your teen. And Counsellors in M19 can help with teenager behaviour and teen learning issues.

How can I tell if a counsellor is right for me?
Counsellors and therapists in M19 are able to work with a wide range of issues.

For example, you can find CBT Therapists in M19 who focus on a specific issue, as well as DBT Therapists in M19 who help clients with new skills to manage their emotions and relationships.

If you're seeking a marriage counsellor in M19 you'll find that most therapists are trained in marriage counselling or couples counselling in M19 and couples therapy. And they welcome families for family counselling in M19 or family therapy in M19.
