I believe everyone has challenges that are unique to them. My approach is to create a warm and welcoming space for you to discuss your challenges and difficult experiences comfortably and confidentially. I have 9 years of experience working in mental health settings. I have trained in a range of approaches working holistically with individuals and groups to inform, support and transform the physical and psychological effects of Trauma, PTSD, and issues relating to anxiety, depression, relational issues and conflicts. I am also committed to an anti-oppressive, evidence-based, and ethical practice that fosters safety and empowerment.
As a Trauma informed therapist, I have specialist training and experience of working with many trauma survivors, including survivors of child sexual abuse, rape and sexual assault, developmental trauma (childhood emotional neglect or abuse), honour based violence, FGM and domestic violence. I work within the empowerment based and person-centred approach.
I like to incorporate strategies which are individual to you. I understand that it can sometimes be difficult to make sense of our difficulties at the start, don't worry we can work towards building the understanding of the obstacles and how to navigate our way through these challenges together.
