I aim to take the stress out of therapy by providing flexibility around the time of sessions and delivery of sessions so that you can focus on what is bringing you to therapy. Through my free 20 minute telephone consultation we can get a feel for if we would work well together. I offer outdoor therapy allowing us to work together in the fresh air and natural surroundings of Heaton Park as we literally and figuratively walk side by side through the issues that are bringing you therapy. I deliver a person centred approach that places you as the expert as I guide the conversation and help you to make sense of the life around you.
I help clients with a range of issues including stress, anxiety, depression and grief and have found that conducting sessions outdoors has helped clients to be able to open up and feel less inhibited due to the natural surroundings. Walking side by side can also remove some of the intensity allowing thoughts to flow more freely.
I understand that the past couple of years have been difficult for all of us but that doesn't take away from that fact that we have all struggled individually too. My sessions put the focus firmly on you and how you're feeling as we look to make sense of your emotions and the way in which you experience relationships and the world around you.
