Welcome, I’m Adam at New Reflection Counselling Services.
My background is one of experiencing many personal challenges, and I have seen first-hand how Counselling can bring about real change and healing. For the past 20 years I have worked with people from a variety of backgrounds who have been experiencing complex challenges. I have a vast amount of experience in working with Neurodiversity, LGBTQ+, Trauma, Addiction, Mental & physical Health problems, Loss, Low self-esteem, Domestic abuse, Relationship problems, Family related issues, Self-harm & suicide and more...
I have worked with Homeless individuals, families and young people, and have also worked with the elderly and in palliative care.
I also have a keen interest in pet bereavement counselling. After experiencing the loss of my own pets, I found little support, which led me to further studying to offer support around pet loss. After all our pets are family too.
I am a Qualified Integrative Counsellor and a registered member of the BACP. I am a warm and empathic person and I will provide you with a safe, compassionate and confidential space so that you can openly share, without fear of judgement.
