I wonder what brings you here today? Maybe you are at quarter or midlife and desire change or meaning. Is the pressure and strain of 'doing it on your own' or 'holding it all in' is getting too much? Perhaps your relationships keep following the same painful scripts- maybe another pair of eyes and compassionate presence will help? Compulsions or addictions might offer short term relief but long term shame and anxiety- you might yearn to bring them into honest and caring dialogue? An accredited UKCP Psychotherapist, informed by Relational Psychoanalysis, Jungian Psychology and Attachment Theory but holding these lightly.
How I work...Safely: your goals, your pace; Soulfully: connecting with your real and deeper self; Creatively: using imagery, dreams and symbols; Compassionately: honouring how you’ve thrived or maybe just survived; Responsively: a person who actively cares about and accepts you; Psychologically: casting light on how pain stays in your system.
Sitting together we'll get to know each other and what kind of interpersonal flow and rhythm is best suited to you. My job is to be 'big enough' to support your journey, yet 'unobtrusive enough' not to crowd your space or drain your energy. Through this shared learning we'll develop the right kind of psychotherapy for you (it's not a 'one size fits all').
