Together we can unravel thoughts and feelings that might feel really heavy and complex, at a pace that feels safe to you. Each new session is an opportunity for you to go wherever you need to. My role as your counsellor is to encourage you to reflect and help you to connect the dots in an empathic, non judgmental way, to explore and make sense of your inner world which may be reflected in repetitive behaviour patterns that can feel so out of our control. Sessions begin in an opened ended, non structured way to allow space for you to bring what it is you need at that time.
You can expect to reflect on past/current experiences and begin to make sense of what's been happening in your life. I offer a safe space and invite anything that you need to bring into the room, free of interruption, judgement and agendas.
At the core of our therapeutic work will be the relationship we build. We are both human beings on the same level, I will not steer the sessions in a way I want them to go or make you talk about something you don't want to, you have complete autonomy throughout the whole process as you are ultimately the expert in your own life.
