Hello, I'm Abi Finnegan and I am a Trauma Informed and trauma focussed Integrative Psychotherapist, clinical supervisor, neurofeedback practitioner and trainer. I specialise in working with developmental trauma, Complex Trauma (CPTSD), PTSD, Dissociation, "personality disorders", grief, traumatic grief, chronic pain, anxiety and low mood.
I’m particularly interested in helping you find new ways of understanding, managing and sometimes resolving both the emotional and the physical symptoms of stress, distress and trauma. Some of the physical experiences you may have might include chronic fatigue and pain and fibromyalgia.
I offer long term psychotherapy that is integrative, and includes somatic trauma therapy, allowing a whole body approach to healing. I can also offer neurofeedback as part of our work together.
I understand that coming to see a psychotherapist can feel difficult and I hope to help you feel as comfortable as possible by working at your pace, and responding to your needs, in a way that's right for you. I work both online and face to face.
