Many clients find their way to me following difficulty with symptoms associated with depression, low self-esteem and/or with features of anxiety (in its varying clinical forms.) They frequently report reaching a point where day to day life feels a struggle; offers little sense of purpose/direction with limited experiences of satisfaction or joy. By developing a shared understanding of their problem, including the elements that have served to maintain the clients problem until now - we can be better informed as to what changes are needed (cognitively & behaviorally) to improve symptoms and renew their sense of coping.

I am passionate about CBT and my therapeutic approach offers curiosity, compassion, support, knowledge and hope throughout a focused goals-led treatment process. Typically, your clinical symptoms help determine specific goals for treatment to target, which we address using combined cognitive & behavioural strategies both in-session and via homework tasks.
I work collaboratively with my clients, likening our dynamic to that of a team and winning formula! Your therapeutic journey is a shared one. You bring yourself as the expert in "all-things-you", and I bring my CBT-specific training, evidence-based knowledge, techniques and interventions. It is this crucial combination that guides your recovery.
