About
If you’re looking for a therapist, you need to find someone who is going to be a good fit for you. It's so important to find someone you can trust and who will respect your individual needs, otherwise you can't get the best out of the experience. I also know that talking to a therapist can be very hard to do, especially if you have spent a lifetime either bottling things up, hiding your true self, or looking after everyone else. Many of my clients come to me with long term issues, perhaps originating in childhood, but there is no set agenda or type of problem that I work with, and all kinds of issues are welcomed.
I specialise in working relationally, which means that I focus on offering you a safe, reliable and healing relationship to work through whatever concerns you. This is particularly important if you have experienced any childhood issues or trauma. I have many years of experience in integrative methods, and adapt my approach to the individual.
I know you might be nervous or struggling to put things into words when you first make contact. It is okay if you are not quite sure what you want from this. Together we can work out whether therapy is right for you and I will do everything I can to put you at your ease. Please contact me if you would like to know more.
