Having supported children, young people and families for around 20 years, I have worked with clients with a range of issues including: bereavement, low self esteem, anxiety, depression, family, divorce, addiction, obesity, confidence etc. I enjoy working in partnership with clients to set goals for therapy or to provide a safe space to talk things through, whichever they would prefer. Client feedback has included that I am an honest and genuine person. I really do care about my clients and enjoy providing for them a safe and welcome space to explore their issues. I work in a person centred way.
I have completed many training courses on bereavement and loss and consider this to be an area of expertise. I enjoy working with adults and also children and young people. I have completed a Counselling Children and Young People qualification and enjoy working with a diverse age range of clients. I also have a keen interest in managing emotions.
