Michelle Shreeve MA
Michelle Shreeve, MA, is the author of Parental Death: The Ultimate Teen Guide and Coping with Parental Death: Insights and Tips for Teenagers, in which she helps children, teens, young adults, and grieving families navigate the death of a parent. She is a freelance writer whose work has been featured in magazines, newspapers, websites, and university publications for 15 years. Her primary focus is on children, teens, and young adults who have lost a parent before the age of 20 and the after-effects of navigating parental death. Her research focuses on how bibliotherapy, writing therapy, and movie therapy, through the use of autoethnography, can help children, teens, and young adults navigate the death of a parent. She holds two graduate degrees in English and creative writing and two undergraduate degrees in psychology.
