I wonder if there are other kind of mathematical equivalents to the idea of theory of musical equilibration? Ie. the golden ratio in geometry forms more 'pleasant' shapes.
The only universal in music is the octave, which I always thought indicates some kind of harmony with the universe. Im not at all spiritual but the whole thing feels so intuitive... Even natural.
