Why are so many people drawn to conspiracy theories in times of crisis?

People from all walks of Life, be it a street person, a pharmacist, a nurse, a doctor, can be an addict. Therefore, it is true that money may expose you to be able to buy the addictive substances. Back to the general topi, I do not believe money.makes anyone happy. At 70 years old, now retired, I've seen it in my workplace, my family and my friends. Yes, a great support system and a feeling of community, wherever it may come from, will make you happy. The other factor good health and meeting Maslow's needs; i.e. Food, shelter, clothing, + safety. I also believe part.of the happiness factor can be generic, and would be interesting to further research.
