Beautifully written. We can only move forward... Yet, failure to consider our sunk costs as just that... we lock ourselves into lives less well-lived. Unless one believes in reincarnation... this is no dress rehearsal. I believe the author is suggesting that we live our lives more fully, knowing that failures will occur... we should not let them define us or prevent us from pursuing joy.
