Valerie Golden, Ph.D., graduated from Stanford University (A.B.) and Columbia University (Ph.D.), completed postdoctoral training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy at Columbia Psychoanalytic, as well as a postdoctoral Fellowship at the New York Psychoanalytic Society and Institute, and is a senior psychoanalytic candidate at the MN Psychoanalytic Society & Institute. Dr. Golden was formerly a securities attorney, and an adjunct assistant professor in Columbia University’s Clinical Psychology Program. She is interested in psychoanalysis, relationships, high-stress occupations/situations and the psychology of money and finance. She is on the faculty of Harvard Medical School's annual conference on pituitary disease and is a published author/contributor. In her private practice, she specializes in treating attorneys, executives, and other professionals in high-stress occupations.
