Shainna Ali, Ph.D., is a practitioner, educator, and advocate who is dedicated to highlighting the important role of mental health in fostering happiness, fulfillment, and overall wellness. She is a certified counselor and licensed mental health clinician, and the owner of Integrated Counseling Solutions, a clinical and consulting practice in Central Florida. She has served as president of the Florida Association for Multicultural Counseling and Development and was awarded the Pete Fischer Humanitarian Award for her efforts. She is an instructor at the Chicago School of Professional Psychology and the University of Central Florida. Her primary areas of interest in teaching, research, and practice include identity and culture, emotional intelligence, creativity, and trauma.
