He is the author of the chapter, The Management of Pain, in the comprehensive guide, Facing Cancer. He is Assistant Professor of Behavioral Medicine and former Director of HIV Psychiatry at New York Medical College. He previously worked with Dr. Edward Hallowell at the Hallowell Center and currently, he is the Medical Director of Advanced Behavioral Psychiatry, a private practice specializing in Adult ADHD.
