Phyllis R. Koch-Sheras, Ph.D. is a practicing clinical psychologist and coauthor of several books on dreams and couples. Dr. Koch-Sheras received her doctorate from the University of Texas and completed her clinical internship at the VA Medical Center in Palo Alto, California. She has worked in state hospitals, university counseling centers and has maintained an active independent practice for more than 30 years. During that time, she has specialized in working with couples, families and groups. Dr. Koch-Sheras also gives presentations and workshops for professionals and couples with her husband Peter.
Peter L. Sheras, Ph.D, ABPP is a practicing clinical psychologist and professor in the University of Virginia’s Curry School of Education where he serves and the Chair of the Department of Human Services and Director of Clinical Training in the Clinical and School Psychology Program. He has been in part-time independent practice for more than 35 years and has authored publications on couples, parenting teenagers, youth violence, and adolescent development. He is the coauthor of the Stress Index for Parents of Adolescents and books for parents on bullying and raising teens. He received is doctorate from Princeton University. Dr. Sheras also gives presentations and workshops for professionals and couples with his wife, Phyllis.
