Naveed Saleh, MD, MS, attained a bachelor's degree in biology from Cornell University, a medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine and a master's degree in science journalism (with an informal concentration in psychology) from Texas A&M University in College Station. Naveed is a freelance medical writer and editor and has written for a variety of national publications.  He's also written and edited for many prominent physicians and researchers. Naveed was a contributing writer at The New Physician magazine, where he performed a professional internship and won a 2010 Apex Award for Health & Medical Writing.  Naveed is currently the author of his own department at titled "Medical Treatements" where he reports on the newest in medical treatments and peer-reviewed research.   Naveed's first book with a major publisher (Writer's Digest Books/F+W Media) was released in January 2014 and in December 2014 became an Amazon Best Seller in the Authorship Reference category.  The book is titled The Complete Guide to Article Writing: How to Write Successful Articles for Online and Print Markets.  In his spare time, Naveed likes to play golf, paint in oils, garden, collect pens, walk along the beach, collect animation cels, watch movies, listen to music and hang out with his wife and kids.  Naveed is scared of dirty diapers and snakes and an ardent adherent to the principles of defensive driving.
