Michael Bradley, Ph.D., is a licensed clinical psychologist, lecturer, and author specializing in adolescence. He has worked with teens in schools, prisons, and community programs, and he holds a specialized certification in the treatment of substance abuse disorders. He is also a Fellow of the American Board of Forensic Examiners. His publications include five books: Yes, Your Teen IS Crazy: Loving Your Kid Without Losing Your Mind (Harbor Press, 2003); Yes, Your Parents ARE Crazy!: A Teen Survival Guide (Harbor Press, 2005); The Heart and Soul of the Next Generation (Harbor Press, 2006); When Things Get Crazy with Your Teen: The Why, the How, the What to do NOW (McGraw Hill, 2009); and Crazy-Stressed: Saving Today’s Overwhelmed Teens with Love, Laughter, and the Science of Resilience (Amacom, 2017). Before pursuing the study of psychology, he was an officer in the U.S. Army, a disc jockey, and a law school student before fate landed him in a job working with teenagers, a job he never dreamed he’d love.
