Dr. Mark Hoelterhoff has worked in the field of mental health for almost 20 years. His work experience includes both private practise and contracted county mental health providers. In addition to health care settings, he has worked at several colleges and universities; before coming to England, he helped establish a psychology program in Lithuania. Mark works as a senior lecturer in applied psychology and his research focus is environmental and personal factors in resilience and well-being. He is a chartered member of the British Psychological Society and registered as a counselling psychologist with the Health and Care Professions Council. In addition, Mark is also the chairperson of Healthwatch Cumbria, an independent organisation set up to champion the views of patients and social care users.
