Mark B. Baer, Esq. is an attorney, mediator, collaborative law practitioner, conflict resolution consultant, and author based in the City of Pasadena, County of Los Angeles, California. In addition to co-authoring Putting Kids First in Divorce: How to Reduce Conflict, Preserve Relationships and Protect Your Children During and After Divorce and Inside the Minds: Strategies for Family Law in California, 2013 ed., published by Aspatore Books, a Thomson Reuters business, Mark has appeared on television, radio and print, including KTLA 5 News' "Inside the Law with Manny Medrano," KNX 1070 Newsradio - CBS Los Angeles, and publications such as the Los Angeles Times, Huffington Post, Psychology Today, American Journal of Family Law, has had an ongoing column in the San Gabriel Valley Psychological Association's award-winning newsletter since September 2008, and co-founded Family Dynamics Assistance Center. Among other honors and awards, Mark has been recognized as a Southern California Super Lawyer since 2012, specifically for Family Law from 2012 through 2015 and for Alternative Dispute Resolution since 2016. In 2017, he was elected a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation in recognition of exemplary dedication to highest principles of the legal profession, commitment to the welfare of society, and support for the ideals, objectives, and work of the American Bar Foundation.
