Larry Maucieri, Ph.D., ABPP-CN, is a board certified clinical neuropsychologist. He is an associate professor at Governors State University near Chicago, IL, and a licensed clinical neuropsychologist in private practice in Chicago, IL. Dr. Maucieri has published and presented on adult attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), cognitive problems, traumatic brain injury, and dementia-related problems. With Dr. Jon Carlson, he co-edited the 2013 book The Distracted Couple: The Impact of ADHD on Adult Relationships (published by Crown House Books). This book provides readers with a comprehensive look at the problems caused by ADHD in adult relationships, and the treatment approaches available to resolve these problems. In his clinical practice, Dr. Maucieri provides psychotherapy and clinical neuropsychological assessment related to adult ADHD, memory problems, and brain injuries. Dr. Maucieri completed his graduate training in psychology at NYU and Fordham University, his clinical internship at Yale, and his specialty training in neuropsychology at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
