Katherine Schreiber, co-author of The Truth About Exercise Addiction: Understanding the Dark Side of Thinspiration, is a New York City based writer and freelance editor whose work has been published by Psychology Today, Cosmopolitan, TIME, Greatist.com, and Psychcentral.com. She is a columnist at Rehabs.com and has appeared on NY1, ABC Nightline, and Good Morning America. In 2015 she received her Master of Fine Arts in Creative Nonfiction from Sarah Lawrence College. As of 2017 she is a Master of Social Work candidate at Fordham University's Graduate School of Social Work.
Heather Hausenblas, Ph.D., co-author of The Truth About Exercise Addiction: Understanding the Dark Side of Thinspiration, is an associate professor of psychology at Jacksonville University in the College of Health Sciences.
