Josh Davis, PhD is the author of Two Awesome Hours: Science-Based Strategies to Harness Your Best Time and Get Your Most Important Work Done. He received his bachelor’s from Brown University, and his Ph.D. from Columbia University. His career began in engineering, from which he transitioned to academic teaching and research about the mind and brain. He has researched adaptive emotional state control and mind-body connections, and has received funding from the National Science Foundation. Since 2002 he has taught and inspired students ranging from high school, at an inner-city Brooklyn Public School, to the Ivy League, as well as adults returning to school. Dr. Davis is Director of Research and Lead Professor for the NeuroLeadership Institute, a coach, and member of the training staff of the NLP Center of New York.
