Eric Anderson, Ph.D.

Professor Eric Anderson, Ph.D., is an American sociologist at the University of Winchester, England. He is known for his research on sexualities and masculinities studies.

His work shows a growing movement of young heterosexual men's masculinity becoming softer and more inclusive of gay men. Professor Anderson also researches matters related to men's monogamy and the function of cheating, men's improving recognition of bisexuality, the increased acceptance of young heterosexual men kissing and he is an expert on the relationship between gay men and sport.

Professor Anderson has written 10 books, many of them award winners and best sellers. He has been published in dozens of academic journals and is regularly featured in the popular press.
