Since founding Green Ivy Educational Consulting, Ana Homayoun has become a nationally recognized innovator of motivational organization and time-management strategies for adolescents and young adults. Her work focuses on the intersection of techology, socialization and learning for today's students. She is the author of two books: The Myth of the Perfect Girl: Helping Our Daughters Find Authentic Success and Happiness in School and Life and That Crumpled Paper Was Due Last Week: Helping Disorganized and Distracted Boys Succeed in School and Life.
She frequently speaks at schools around the nation and abroad to parents, students, and faculty about how to incorporate organization, time-management and personal purpose into the classroom environment and students’ busy schedules. She also visits colleges and universities and consults on career development and wellness initiatives. A graduate of Duke University, she also holds a Masters in Counseling as well as a Pupil Personnel Services Credential from the University of San Francisco.
