Amy Morin is a licensed clinical social worker, psychotherapist, college psychology instructor and internationally recognized expert on mental strength. She's a Wall Street Journal and international bestselling author of 13 Things Mentally Strong People Don't Do and the much anticipated follow-up, 13 Things Mentally Strong Parents Don't Do. Her books have been translated into 30 languages.  

Since 2002, she has been counseling children, teens, and adults. Amy serves as Verywell's Parenting Teens Expert and Child Discipline Expert. She's a regular contributor to Forbes and Inc.
