Amy Green M.A., C.C.C.

Amy Green, M.A., is a doctoral student in Counseling Psychology at the University of Calgary and a Canadian Certified Counsellor. She is passionate about writing about mental health topics, and her freelance writing has been featured in alive and the Globe and Mail. Her research focuses on creativity, youth and women's mental health, and qualitative research methods, and has been published in peer-reviewed journals such as Emerging Adulthood, the European Journal of Cancer Care, and the Canadian Art Therapy Association Journal

Raised in a small town in British Columbia, Canada, Amy completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology at the University of Victoria and her M.A. in Counseling Psychology at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. Following these degrees, she moved with her husband to Germany for two years where they worked at an International School. They currently reside in Calgary, Alberta, where Amy has re-entered student life as a doctoral student.
