Adam Gerace, Ph.D. is a senior lecturer at Central Queensland University and an adjunct senior research fellow at Flinders University. His background is in social and forensic psychology, specifically perspective taking and empathy. His current work examines the strategies used to understand another person’s point of view. He has authored more than 30 chapters and articles in journals such as Personality and Individual Differences, Aggression and Violent Behavior, Journal of Relationships Research, BMJ Open, and International Journal of Mental Health Nursing. He has won an Australian Psychological Society award for his work, and is a regular contributor to ABC (Australian Broadcasting Corporation) Radio.
