Diane Huebert, MCouns, RPsyc, Psychologist in Calgary
I began private practice as a psychologist several years ago and brought with me a few years of experience working as a counsellor helping clients deal with issues related to self-exploration, personal growth, and development. Since starting as a psychologist, I have had opportunity to work with individuals, couples, and families in a general counselling context. This includes attending to concerns regarding depression, anxiety, trauma, and life transitions brought about through changes in the work and/or home situation.
My therapeutic orientation is to work collaboratively with Clients through questioning and discussion, as well as offering, when desired, incorporation of the body/mind dynamic. This involves talk therapy and/or body focused experiential processes. My intention is placed upon assisting Client toward self-empowerment within their life and circumstance.
I have experience working with the Alberta Court System providing Brief Conflict Intervention counselling for families regarding issues related to divorce/separation, as well as further work performing various types of assessments for family situations and/or individuals. Evening and weekend session times are also available.
