Sometimes a crisis arises that feels unresolvable without professional help, or maybe events from the past weigh on us for no apparent reason. I have found the most common reasons to seek psychotherapy are related to depression, stress, anxiety, challenges with eating, and relationship problems. Experience shows that our psyche is able to bring itself back into balance and heal itself, given the right circumstances. Therapy provides a supportive environment to discuss such concerns, explore underlying causes and strengthen our ability to make desired life changes.
We don't need to be in difficulty to benefit from a Jungian approach. It is ideally suited when searching a deeper understanding of ones-self and in the quest for personal wholeness. I often work with dreams during sessions to make space for the inner voice and gain a deeper sense of self and purpose in life, and become more the person we are meant to be.
