I'm Dr. Olesya Ovchinnikova, a psychologist specialised in integrative body psychotherapy. My approach emphasizes that our being and deep patterns of behaviour are held in the body. I trained in Bodynamic Somatic Psychotherapy and Analysis System (Amsterdam, Netherlands), as well as at Chiron Association for Body Psychotherapists (London, UK).
I am also trained in Brainspotting and Deep Brain Reorienting, innovative, highly effective, brain-based trauma-informed therapies. I personalise psychotherapy to reflect the uniqueness of each individual, drawing upon a range of models and techniques. My therapeutic stance is relational and experiential. I offer therapy in English, Italian and Russian.
