My way of working focuses on (re)connecting our minds, hearts and bodies so that we can have more ease when relating to ourselves, others and the various aspects of our lives. I work with older adolescents, young adults and adults, and also with parent - child relationships. I'll commit to having a collaborative and respectful therapeutic relationship with you where you are the expert in your own inner world and life experiences. I'm here to support you to explore what is getting in the way of you having what you most want for yourself. We will look back on your life, but will mostly work on your experiences in the here and now.
I specialise in attachment, developmental, cultural and intergenerational trauma, and my approach is based on an understanding that life experiences, especially early experiences, are at the root of most of the symptoms and challenges that people experience and bring to counselling. Even when families have tried their best, we can still face challenges.
I enjoy providing the space and time for people to feel heard, understood, safe and - when they are ready - supported to create new patterns in their lives that will allow for lasting change, growth and well-being.
