I specialise in working with anglophone expatriates in Switzerland. My professional interest lies in working with ADHD diagnosed adults, helping clients struggling with illness or grief. I also work with couples facing difficulties. I take into account you and your personal and cultural circumstances, and use elements of different approaches (e.g., CBT and Existential therapy) to help you explore your needs and set realistic goals to achieve them. I am SGfB registered intergrative psychological counsellor.
I strongly believe that psychosocial interventions play an important role in improving life of ADHD clients, even though it is neurobiologically based. Distractibility, disorganisation or task procrastination may be improved by setting specific goals in areas of organising, planning, adaptive thinking or anger management.
From my personal experience I understand that change is possibly the most challenging thing that we face. We love routines and patterns. It provides a level of comfort in our already busy lives. For those who already struggle with anxiety, depression, PTSD or any mental health difficulties, even a small change may be just overwhelming.
