As a (native German) lecturer in Psychology for the University of Westminster in London and other UK universities, I relocated to Vienna in August 2012 to pursue training as Clinical & Health Psychologist and became Chartered Clinical & Health Psychologist in November 2013. My training took place at the reputed “Psychosomatic Centre Waldviertel”, Eggenburg. In my own practice I specialize on the treatment of depression, anxiety, psychosomatic stress-related complaints and alcohol abuse. As chartered Clinical and Health Psychologists I work with individual adolescents and adults, also providing Couples Counseling.
My expertise focuses on depressive disorders (Major Depressive Disorder, Mania and Bipolar Disorder), anxiety disorders (Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Phobias, Panic Attacks and Obsessive Compulsive Disorders), personality disorders (especially Borderline Personality Disorder) and psychosomatic complaints.
I am professional and yet down-to-earth in my core aims to help people find relief from psychological strain and difficulties, cope with life events, find a better work-life-balance or solve relationship problems. The core focus lies in enhancing psychological and physical well-being and, thus, quality of life - of clients and their important others.
